Reactive for CRUD: Fantasy and Reality

What could be simpler than the simplest CRUD service, especially in Spring? Nevertheless, the variety of technologies and approaches for solving the most basic problems does not give us an unambiguous answer to when it is better to use this or that technology. Recently, reactive technologies such as WebFlux have been gaining popularity, including at the level of interaction with relational databases R2DBC. There is also a new approach, Project Loom. As part of the talk, we will analyze when it is worth using one or another approach. Conclusions will be supported by the results of load testing.
